Rye grain is by far and away the most popular choice for growers who produce their own grain spawn, being compatible with the majority of mushroom species and providing excellent water retention properties, making it a superb choice for for grain spawn production. Our organic rye grain packs are supplied fully autoclave sterilised and optimally hydrated for best results. The rye is contained in double heat-sealed T-filter mushroom bags complete with injection ports which are added post-sterilisation.
Our 1.5Kg rye bags are made more or less to order – although we use 1.5Kg bags ourselves and often make up more than we need, this is not guaranteed, so although most will be shipped within 48 hours, please allow up to 5 days for dispatch.
