Our 9Kg CVG mushroom grow kit consists of 6 of our 1.5Kg CVG mushroom grow bags, which contain a mix of sterilised rye grain and CVG substrate (coco coir, vermiculite and gypsum), which is a mix well suited to manure-loving mushrooms. The grain and substrate are processed for optimum hydration and packed in highest quality Unicorn mushroom bags, sterilised and heat-sealed. Self-healing injection ports are added to the bags post-sterilisation.
Customers should note that ‘all in one’ grow bags is a term used to describe bags which contain sterilised grain and substrate which is ready for inoculation. Unless stated otherwise, these bags do not contain spores or mycelium, which customers can buy or provide separately. This 9Kg grow kit is supplied as 6 x 1.5Kg kits in unicorn mushroom bags (with 0.2micron filters).
For best results, bags should be stored in a cool dark place until use and should be used within 2 weeks to ensure best results. To use, simply inoculate with the liquid culture of your choice (we never recommend using spore syringes as the potential for unwanted contamination is much higher) when compared to liquid culture or agar cultures.
